Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actress from Canada. She played Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's comedy series Majority Rules! between 2009 and 2010. Between 2009 and 2010, she appeared as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) on the NBC series Revolution which is a post-apocalyptic science fiction series. The show was nominated for a Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson was the character Annika on the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos appeared as Detective Hailey Upton on the television show Bates from A&E. Motel. As Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the main character. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, and restaurant proprietors George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. The family moved to Skala in Greece situated south of Sparta just after her birth. In 1992 the family returned to Canada. She is deeply connected to her Greek roots and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school, and attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos left Winnipeg to pursue acting in 2007 to pursue acting. She got her first TV appearance on Supernatural within weeks. Spiridakos continued to work on TV, and was able to get walk-on parts on Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos made an appearance in the TV film Goblin and in the web-based television series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also had a recurring role on Being Human as werewolf Brynn McLean.In 2009, she won her first role as a star in the Canadian Teletoon series Majority Rules!, playing 15-year-old Becky Richards. She made her movie debut in 2011 by starring in Rise of the Planet of the Apes and also filmed the low-budget Michael Greenspan-directed thriller, Kill for Me, starring across from Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy. Spiridakos was Sammi in Rags the movie, the first Nickelodeon original movie. The character of Charlotte Matheson, a survivalist living in a post-apocalyptic future civilisation, was her lead in the NBC television show Revolution. She was a candidate for the role when she attended her first pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos produced the pilot in Atlanta and shot the first season in Wilmington, North Carolina. In recognition of her performance in the pilot, she was nominated to win the Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. She was defeated by Fringe's Anna Torv. The series' second season was recorded in Austin, Texas.
