Kaitlyn Ann Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie (born December 10, 1987) is a American sports presenter and journalist. She works for the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter and presents in their daily news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie first became interested in stock car racing after she received the pit lane pass. After finishing her studies at Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. Her self-made videos on NASCAR were released on stock car racing website SceneDaily. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10 in 1987. Her family relocated to Warrenton following the time Vincie was accepted into high school. Vincie is the daughter and granddaughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her grandfather. He was part of Bridgewater College's faculty. She was interested in journalism from a young age. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. She was a track and field events, and also worked as a director for the school's wrestling team for four years. She won the 800m event at the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and also provided Vincie with a large amount of information. She completed her degree at Christopher Newport University in 2010 with an undergraduate degree in communications. Vincie was an intern in the department's athletics department at the university. Vincie also held a similar role at the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. After getting a pit-lane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race, Vincie finished her thesis for her senior year on gender-based disparities in auto racing. Her main influences are Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda and Wendy Venturini.
