Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

American actress Elizabeth Leigh Vassey was born on the 9th of August, 1972. She is known for her roles in the roles of Emily Ann Sago, Captain Liberty as well as Captain Liberty, in All My Children and in The Tick. Wendy Simms as Wendy Simms in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001. She also played Wendy Beaumont, in Nikki & Nora in Nikki & Nora. Vassey was the teenage Emily Ann Sago in All My Children between 1988 and 1991. Vassey acted as a recurring character on the show Tru Calling from 2004 to 2005, playing Dr. Carrie Allen. Vassey was Wendy Simms' recurring role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from 2005 to 2010. Vassey was promoted from a regular cast member to the Wendy Simms role during the tenth season. She also began appearing in the opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported on June 1st of 2010 that Vassey would not be returning in the series' eleventh season. The actress appeared in one episode during that season.Vassey made a cameo on Joss Whedon's online musical, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along blog, as "Fury Leika". Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, she and fellow actress Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company called Neurosis to a T(ee) and makes and sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans make fun of women's worries and anxieties. They usually refer to relationships.
