Alyson Lee Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on March 24, 1974. Hannigan is an American host and actor on television. She is famous for her performances in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003), Willow Rosenberg (2005-2014) as well as Lily Aldrin (2005–2014), which was awarded a People's Choice Award in 2009. Michelle Flaherty (1999–2012) was also in her credits. Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller the Fool us has been running since 2016. Hannigan is also the voice actor of Claire Clancy from Fancy Nancy (2018-2018). Hannigan was the daughter of Emilie (Posner) Haas and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan was Hannigan's only child. Hannigan's mom was Jewish, and her father Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. Hannigan relocated to Hollywood when she was in her twelfth year along with her mom. Her father, a casting agent, was with her in Santa Barbara. She auditioned. She attended California State University Northridge after high school. She was a member the Alpha Chi Omega fraternity in Northridge and graduated with an undergraduate degree in psychology. Hannigan's first movie appearance was in the film My Stepmother Is an Alien in 1988. Seth Green was also one of her co-stars, and later became her co-star in Buffy. Her first TV series role came in 1989 and she was chosen as an actress in the ABC sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan, her How I Met Your Mother star, was just the age of a teenager when Hannigan became a babysitter for the children of Bob Saget. Hannigan was later cast to portray Willow Rosenberg, Buffy Summers her best friend on the hit TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer In 1997, she won the attention of the nation. She also babysat Bob Saget's kids on the show How I Met Your Mom. Angel made her play her role as the character of Willow in a couple of episodes.
