Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 is an American actress who is best famous for her performance in 24 and the voice work that she performed for Tess in NaughtyDog's game The Last of Us. Wersching was raised in St. Louis. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis, graduating in 1995. In her youth she competed as an Irish dancer as well as a member of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she received in 1999. Wersching's acting journey began with her appearance in Star Trek: Enterprise. Later, Wersching was invited to appear on guest shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character in ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Also, she has performed in theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. 2014 saw her as the regular series star for the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher in 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap actor of Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character via Twitter before her appearance in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer that was shown on the 7th of December the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching is set to play the role of the Borg queen in the Star Trek the second season of Picard, which will premiere in September 2021.
